Therapy
Use for osteoarthritis
Using the stable boots for osteoarthritis is beneficial. The warmth has a positive effect on the affected bones and is good for the joints. The horse’s well-being increases. Joints suffering from osteoarthritis are often painful, especially in cold weather. Our stable boots with infrared effect reflect the body heat and the joints remain flexible.

VITANDAR Stable Boots
These are our stable gaiters with the infrared membrane on the inside.
The cut is ergonomically designed and tapered for a good fit on the leg. The gaiters are cut high and end below the fetlock joint, which is therefore well enclosed.
We have dispensed with an overlap area in the design. The gaiter therefore closes butt to butt at the front of the leg. We have developed the ‘soft edge’™ specifically for this purpose. This means that there are no rubbing seams at this point. So nothing can pinch!
The VITANDAR stable boots consist of one piece and are made of hard-wearing outer material. They have soft padding that is divided by chambers and therefore fits snugly around the leg. The Velcro fasteners allow you to adjust the firmness individually. This means you can put the gaiter on quickly and easily!
The entire inside is equipped with a ceramic membrane and provides the infrared reflection effect.
No neoprene – no heat build-up
The entire gaiter is breathable. As we do not use neoprene, there is no heat build-up.
Neoprene is a synthetic rubber and is known for its dense, insulating effect. However, heat build-up on the horse’s leg must be avoided at all costs. This is counterproductive and has a detrimental effect on the tendons.
Our stable boots are therefore breathable, as you can see from the fact that they do not become waterlogged.

Instructions for use
Note the following:
Start slowly
Start the application slowly and increase the dose gradually.
In the first few days of use, the increased blood circulation can lead to an increased effect. The application should then be reduced again and gradually increased in the following days.
We recommend that the products are not used continuously for 24 hours, but that the body is always given a boost by alternating between use and rest. The optimum duration for most applications is half a day, e.g. overnight use.
Observe your horse to see if it feels comfortable with it!
In the stable
The VITANDAR stable boots are intended for use when the horse is at rest. So use them primarily when the horse is in the box or at the grooming area. Overnight use is ideal.
In outdoor use
Some of the stable boots are also suitable for use in the paddock or pasture. Use is possible under good ground conditions. Care must be taken to ensure that no sand or mud gets in, which could cause chafing. Regular attention should also be paid to a good seating position.
Use cases
VITANDAR gaiters are suitable for the following areas of application:
– to promote lymph flow and blood circulation
– for wound healing
– for regeneration after exercise
– for supportive treatment of injuries
