The back warmer with our tried-and-tested far infrared ceramic membrane
It was developed for horses with back problems. This is usually due to muscular tension. The firmly laminated ceramic particles reflect the radiating body heat and return it to the body. This benefits the circulatory tissue by widening the blood vessels and increasing circulation. This has a positive effect on the work of the back muscles.
The rug is designed so that it can be used on different occasions: for example to warm up before riding, in the horse walker, during the resting phase in the box or in the trailer during transportation.
The ceramic membrane is located in the back area. The side panels are made of cozy, warm microfleece. The membrane is also water-repellent, so that your horse’s back stays warm and dry even in a small rain shower.

The back warmer is ideal for use at competitions. It keeps your horse’s muscles warm during breaks between competitions. Especially if the weather doesn’t play along: the infrared membrane is waterproof and therefore protects against soaking if it does rain!
While riding on the trailer, your horse’s back is optimally protected against draughts. We have developed a lightweight version for the summer: the mesh side panels prevent heat build-up and ensure good air circulation.

Also ideal for rides on horse trailers: the back is well protected against the wind blowing in.
The membrane is windproof, water-repellent and breathable.
In the horse walker
The back warmer can also be used in the horse walker. The horse’s freedom of movement is not restricted as the chest area is exposed.
The buckleable front strap keeps the blanket in place during movement. It can also be secured with a rubber blanket strap. The rear strap prevents it from slipping sideways.
No rust
All buckles are made of non-metallic materials. They are made of nylon, which has a high tensile strength and break resistance and is particularly resistant to moisture. So nothing can rust!
Reflective
The blankets are edged all round with reflective piping for greater safety in the dark. The VITANDAR logo also glows in the dark.
