The fly hat

Our fly hood combines two functions in one: it protects sensitive horses from annoying insects and supports the neck area with the infrared effect. Style meets function!

Equipment

The fly hat is made of our fabric with an infrared membrane in the neck area. We have optimized the fit so that the cap fits the neck as wrinkle-free as possible. The underside of the material is made of microfleece and therefore lies softly on the horse’s head.

The fly veil can be easily attached to the bridle with a Velcro loop so that nothing slips. The browband can be made of airy mesh material or a crochet insert.

No doping: the use of our fly hats does not fall under doping. It is also approved for competitions and complies with the LPO.

Variants

You can choose between the following variations:

Classic

Fly hat with infrared effect in the neck area. Forehead section is made of mesh material. The ears are made of breathable cotton fabric.

Premium

The premium version has a crochet insert made from cotton yarn in the forehead area. The crochet insert is genuinely handmade and we have it made in Germany. It is available in the colors navy, chocolate and black. You can have it as a subtle plain color or – if you like it with glitter – with sequins.

Noise-insulating

This fly hat has ears made of a sound-absorbing material. The composition and thickness of the material absorbs noise from the surroundings, allowing the horse to concentrate better on its rider.
