The application

Settling in: start slowly

Start the application slowly and increase the dose gradually.

In the first few days of use, the increased blood circulation can lead to an increased effect. The application should then be reduced again and gradually increased in the following days.

We recommend using the products at intervals. By alternating between use and rest, the body is always given a new stimulus with the far infrared effect. The ideal duration for most applications is half a day, e.g. overnight use.

Observe your horse to see how comfortable it feels with it and feel your way towards the optimum wearing time.

The effect

The reflection of the infrared rays promotes blood circulation and increases the oxygen content in the blood, which can have various positive effects on the body:

– In the stable

The main area of application for VITANDAR stable boots is overnight use in the box. They are removed during the day. This creates a positive interaction with the infrared effect.

– Use for osteoarthritis

Horses suffering from osteoarthritis can benefit from the deep heat generated by the infrared reflection. The heat keeps the joints warm and supple and therefore promotes the horse’s flow of movement. This can increase the horse’s well-being enormously.

– At the tournament

On cold show days, the use of ceramic products is ideal, especially if there are long waiting times. This keeps your horse fit and warm and the tendons ready to perform.

– In conjunction with chiropractor treatment

If your horse receives regular chiropractor treatments, please coordinate any product use with your therapist. We recommend putting the stable boots on before your chiropractor’s visit in order to prepare tendons and muscles for treatment.

– In conjunction with veterinary treatment

VITANDAR products can be used in conjunction with veterinary intervention. Please make sure you discuss how and for how long they should be worn with your vet!

Caution: VITANDAR stable boots are not intended for use while riding.

The use of VITANDAR products does not fall under doping. No substances are transferred to the body. You can use our stable boots and neck protectors during competitions.
